Righty-o then. I haven't really updated this in a while because a lot's been going on in regards to school and crap like this, but I'm going to keep it brief because I still have ridiculous amounts of stuff to do for cosplay and school and life (ack english extension has turned me into a zombie - and not the good kind).

Last time I wrote one of these was in March, and it's now September. Where did all the time go? It's an odd feeling. Everyone always told me that grade 12 would fly by like a big angsty blur and I never believed them.
UNTIL NOW. -ominous music-

It's kind of scary to think that QCS was sometime last week; as far as themes went 'Time' was a pretty good one. One of my mates wrote a Dr Who fanfic and threw some Buzz Lightyear quotes in for the hell of it (BEST QCS RESPONSE EVER), one of the multichoice papers had Dilbert comics in it, and then went on to make an untintentional reference to Woopers (my favourite pokemon hahahaha I'm such a geek).

School's kinda bogged me down; I had to write something like 4 different articles for the school yearbook and apparently one of the teachers wants to put a photo of me as Toadette in for the Anime Club photo. It's going to be rather funny. X3

OH OH OH. BEST EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY EVER GOT INTRODUCED THIS TERM.

E-SPORTS.

AKA VIDEO GAMING.

Basically the computer staff bought a whole heap of Xbox 360's and installed them in one of the computer rooms. There is something horribly right with the world when you're playing Rockband, belting it out to Eye of the Tiger with a female computing teacher on drums, a Latin teacher on the bass and another student on lead guitar.
It's awesome that it's there, but I'm a bit disappointed that I won't be around for long to help it grow (considering I'm one of the few 'hardcore' gamers of the school), but at least it's there. <3

Cosplay-wise.... ack. Gencon is in less than 2 weeks and we still have to make something like 2-and-a-half costumes, and I need to record skits, and make things out of polymer clay that's about 5 months old so I have to recondition it with vaseline, and find time not to fail biology and English Extension.

But I suppose I did kind of cheat the system for English Extension. We were supposed to pick both a film and a novel that challenged similar issues, and somehow I end up doing:

A) Only a single source; a movie, and...
B) That movie is the 1968 version of The Producers.

It's an excuse to watch it over and over again (and then spend my holidays screaming and crying while trying to write the bastard of an essay but I won't think about that now).

I've got so much on, and I've kind of foregone any and all communication with the outside world. I'll try to speak to everyone more (heck, I doubt anyone is even going to bother reading this), and be happier and less stressed.


When I was in grade 9 the fam and I went on a trip to China and Mongolia. Looking back at the photos, I wasn't smiling in a single one.
It mightn't seem like much, but that simple fact was enough to make me change my life. I'm a lot happier now, and looking back over the photos from last year (we went to Turkey), I'm smiling in every single one.
